Beth, Luke and I were playing in Beth's room this afternoon. It was nearing 5:00 pm, and I was tired from the walk we'd just finished. I was sitting in her rocking chair with my legs propped up, and Beth asked to sit in my lap, so I pulled her up. She cuddled up next to me and started playing with my hair, pushing it behind my ears, and she said, "Mommy I love you more than everything in the world." I smiled and told her I loved her too. She continued- "All the birdies and the doggies love you more than everything too...And Luke...And Jesus. And Mary too. Everyone loves you more than the whole world." What a beautiful heart, and what a beautiful reminder at the end of a long day.
