I was gone on Saturday morning and Ryan started a project with Beth!  Here's her "saint book" she drew, I asked her to explain to the camera what she drew on each page and why, she added everything else!

Playing Mass

The kids have "played mass" the past few mornings.  This involves flipping a table on its side, one person sitting in front of the other two, and lots of singing.  I took this two minute video today of Beth singing, after I stopped filming she went on to do a reading or two.  Luke mostly sang along!

I know I haven't posted many videos lately, I'm going to try to get better about that. For some reason, it takes me 30 minutes to post a 2-minute video on youtube- what a pain.

Here's a video I took of my belly, I think the best video I've taken with all three pregnancies. All you pregnant mommys might not think it's anything special, but I'm willing to guess a couple of people will be slightly grossed out (and that's what I'm going for). ;-)

First steps!

Luke has sort of taken his first steps a few times now. Even before his birthday, he took a couple of steps (more like grace-less falls) into our arms, but he's to the point now where he'll do it without our coaxing. I think at most he's traveled 8 or 9 steps, and he's so proud of himself when he falls into our arms!

I took this video last week, Ryan is determined to encourage Luke to stand and walk. Luke can stand on his own for a few seconds before he falls- I think he'd just rather crawl since he knows that works (and since he's pretty quick too!). Today he might have taken his first step, it was teeny tiny but it was unassisteted and he didn't fall! I'm not sure if we're "counting" it or not!

A quiet dinner

Our house is rarely silent. Beth even talks in her sleep, so night can be filled with Beth's talking too. But this dinner was a hit with both of them! This is the quietest our house has been in a long time... Mom, thanks again, for the Dan Dan Noodle recipe. Yum!
